Gas chromatogram of butter triglycerides obtained by injecting 1 microliter of 5% (w\/v) solution of anydrified butter in n-hexane. Chromatographic conditions were: hydrogen at 2 ml\/min flow; 250\u00b0 C held 2 min.; increase 5\u00b0C\/min to 360; held 4 min. Column was RTX-65 TG (l=30 m; i.d.=0.25 mm; f.t. 0.1 micron) Figure A shows integration for groups or families of triglycerides; Figure B shows the integration fro each peak. Instrument used was Perkin Elmer Autosystem XL.<\/p>\n\t\t

These gas chromatograms were the best chromatographic separation of butter triglycerides.<\/p>\n\t\t
Discovery<\/p>\n\t\t
This separation allowed to better separate butter tryglicerides and to apply Precht method for identification of butter purity.<\/p>\n\t\t
